Today, the US-based loyalty program Bilt Rewards has announced a new partnership with Hilton Honors.
Through the partnership, eligible Bilt Rewards members can now transfer Bilt Points to Hilton Honors at a 1:1 ratio.
In addition, until June 8, 2024, Bilt Rewards members who enrol in Hilton Honors and transfer at least 1,000 Bilt Points will earn 1,000 bonus Hilton points.
Bilt Rewards Launches Partnership with Hilton Honors
Bilt Rewards, a transferable points program based in the US, has launched a partnership with Hilton Honors, one of the world’s leading hotel loyalty programs.
As of May 8, 2024, Bilt Points can be transferred to Hilton Honors at a 1:1 ratio, and with this development, Hilton becomes the 18th transfer partner for Bilt Rewards.
Bilt Rewards Blue members must transfer a minimum of 2,000 Bilt Points, and Bilt Rewards Silver, Gold and Platinum members can transfer a minimum of 1,000 Bilt Points.
Additionally, Bilt Rewards members who transfer at least 1,000 Bilt Points to Hilton Honors will receive a bonus of 1,000 Hilton Honors points. This offer is Bilt’s most generous launch transfer bonus among hotel programs to date.
In case you’re not familiar, one of Bilt’s mainstay features is the ability to pay rent with a credit card. You can also earn Bilt Points with the Bilt Mastercard, through the Bilt Wallet, and on neighbourhood spending.
Bilt Now Partners with Four Major Hotel Programs
Adding Hilton Honors to its roster ups Bilt Rewards’s transfer partners to 18, which is remarkable for a program that’s only been around since 2021.
However, what’s even more noteworthy is that it’s now transfer partners with the four most popular major hotel programs in North America, including the following:
No other transferable points program has achieved that feat – not even the major ones like American Express US Membership Rewards or Chase Ultimate Rewards, which are transferable to some, but not all hotel partners.
Plus, Bilt Rewards also partners with the following list of airline partners:
- Aer Lingus AerClub
- Air Canada Aeroplan
- Air France KLM Flying Blue
- Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan
- American Airlines AAdvantage (ending in June 2024)
- Avianca LifeMiles
- British Airways Executive Club
- Cathay Pacific Asia Miles
- Emirates Skywards
- Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles
- Iberia Plus
- Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles
- United MileagePlus
- Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
Having that many airline and hotel loyalty programs to transfer with makes Bilt Rewards an even more compelling player in the loyalty space.
Since debuting in 2021, Bilt Rewards has constructed a very strong platform, with unique incentives such as Bilt Rent Day, which often features time-sensitive transfer bonuses and other monthly incentives.
For example, in February 2024, you could get up to a 150% transfer bonus when converting Bilt Points to Aeroplan.
Even better, members don’t even have to hold the Bilt Mastercard to benefit from the program. Anyone can earn and redeem points and derive value out of Bilt Rewards, especially through Bilt Wallet, a feature that allows members to link credit cards from other issuers to their Bilt accounts.
Linking credit cards allows Bilt members to earn Bilt Points on neighbourhood spending in select purchases and categories, in addition to the standard rewards they’d otherwise earn with their linked cards.
These innovative means to earn points sets Bilt Rewards apart from other credit card loyalty programs, since you don’t necessarily have to hold its credit card to participate meaningfully in the program.
Conclusion
Starting May 8, 2024, Bilt Rewards members can transfer Bilt Points to Hilton Honors points at a 1:1 ratio.
To sweeten the deal, Bilt is offering a bonus of 1,000 Hilton Honors points when you transfer at least 1,000 Hilton Honors points, but only until June 8, 2024.
Adding Hilton Honors rounds up Bilt Rewards’s hotel partner roster, which also includes Marriott Bonvoy, IHG One Rewards, and World of Hyatt. No other transferable points program partners with all four major hotel loyalty programs.
This new development also ups Bilt’s list of transfer partners to 18, making it an even more compelling player in the loyalty space.
