Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of princeoftravel.com (the "Site") and its services, operated by Prince of Travel ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Site, you agree to these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract content from the Site
  • Use the Site to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Reproduce or redistribute our content without permission
  • Use Ask Prince of Travel to generate content for competing publications

We may suspend or end an account or membership that breaks these terms.

Content Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about credit cards, loyalty programs, and travel. However:

  • Credit card terms, welcome bonuses, and benefits are subject to change by the issuing bank at any time
  • Award chart pricing may be updated by loyalty programs without notice
  • Ask Prince of Travel provides general guidance and may not always reflect the most recent changes
  • Always verify critical details (annual fees, earn rates, availability) with the card issuer or program directly before making decisions
  • Award seats and prices change constantly. Availability shown in a session, on a coaching call or in a recap is a snapshot to check before you transfer points or book

We are not responsible for changes made by card issuers or loyalty programs after our content is published.

Affiliate Relationships

Prince of Travel earns commissions when you apply for credit cards through our affiliate links. Commission amounts vary by issuer and product. This financial relationship does not cost you anything extra, but you should be aware of it when evaluating our recommendations. See our Disclosure page for full details.

Membership

Plans and billing

  • Plans: Prince of Travel Membership is $35 a month or $335 a year, in Canadian dollars, plus applicable sales tax.
  • Automatic renewal: Your membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period: each month on a monthly plan, or each year on the anniversary of your purchase date on an annual plan. Each renewal is charged at your plan's price. If we change that price, we'll tell you before you're charged the new one.
  • Switching plans: You can switch between monthly and annual in Account Settings. We show you what you'll be charged, or credited, before you confirm.
  • Failed payments: If a renewal payment fails, we'll let you know and try it again. If it still can't be collected, your member access stops and your membership ends.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel at any time in Account Settings, or by writing to us at hello@princeoftravel.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep member access until the end of the period you've paid for, and then your account carries on as a free account.
  • Refunds: An annual membership charge is fully refundable if you ask within 30 days of the charge; a monthly charge, within 7 days. To ask for one, email hello@princeoftravel.com. After that, charges aren't refundable, and we don't give partial refunds. A charge stops being refundable sooner if, since that charge, you've bought a coaching call at the member price or watched more than 3 replays (a replay counts as watched once you've played 5 minutes of it). A refund ends your membership right away.
  • One person: A membership is for one person. Don't share your account, or pass member-only content (including replays and community posts) to people who aren't members. The one exception is watching together, below.
  • Watching together: People in your household can watch live sessions and replays with you, on your screen. Only you sign in to your account, and your community posts, coaching calls and replay picks are yours alone.

What membership includes

Membership includes live member sessions, replays (below), the members community, member pricing on coaching calls, and the other member features described on our Membership page. We add, change and retire features over time.

Live sessions and replays

  • Live sessions: Members can join live sessions and RSVP. Some sessions are for members only, and some are live-only: they aren't recorded or kept as replays. Members' hangouts are live-only.
  • Recording: Other sessions are recorded. The recording, its transcript and summary, and the session chat are shared with members as a replay. If you join a recorded session, your name, voice, video and messages may appear in it.
  • Which replays you can watch: On the annual plan, every replay in the library. On the monthly plan, replays of sessions held from 90 days before you first joined, onward. You also get 2 picks each month to unlock older replays. You keep each replay you pick for as long as you're a member. If your membership ends, it locks again. If you rejoin, it unlocks again. If you don't use a month's picks, they don't carry over to the next month. If you were a member when membership moved to this Site on May 11, 2026, you can watch every replay in the library.
  • Using replays: Replays are for watching on the Site while your membership is active. Don't download, record or share them.

If your membership ends

When your membership ends, and while it's on hold during a payment dispute:

  • Member access stops, including live sessions, replays, the community and member prices. When your membership ends, we remove your RSVPs to upcoming sessions.
  • You keep your free account, and the recordings and recaps of your own coaching calls.
  • If you bought coaching calls at the member price, they go on hold (see Coaching Calls below).
  • If you rejoin, you pay the price at that time, and your replays still count from when you first joined.

Coaching Calls ($199 for members, $299 otherwise)

  • What a call is: A 60-minute video call with a Prince of Travel coach, booked on the Site at a time your coach has open. Coaches give general guidance on travel rewards, not financial, legal or tax advice.
  • Prices: $199 per call for active members; $299 per call for anyone else with a free account. Prices are in CAD, plus applicable sales tax.
  • 3-call pack: Active members can buy three calls for $537. Book them one at a time. The pack isn't refundable.
  • Adding calls: Within 7 days of buying a $199 call, you can add two more calls for $338 ($169 each). That's three calls for $537, the same as the 3-call pack. Use the added calls within 12 months of adding them. They aren't refundable.
  • Use-by date: Each call must take place within 12 months of purchase. Calls from a Points Coaching package (a year of membership bought together with coaching calls) must take place by April 30, 2027. That date doesn't apply to the 3-call pack. You can't book or move a call past its use-by date. After that date, any calls you haven't used expire.
  • Moving and cancelling: Coaching calls aren't refundable. You can move a call to a new time, with the same coach or another one, 24 hours or more before it starts. Cancel 24 hours or more before and the call goes back to your account with the same use-by date, to book another time with any coach (a call from a 3-call pack goes back to your pack). Calls cancelled less than 24 hours before, or missed, count as used.
  • If something goes wrong on our side: If your coach misses the call, we cancel it, or a technical problem on our side stops it, the call goes back to your account with at least 30 days to use it.
  • Recordings and recaps: Calls are recorded and transcribed. After the call you get the recording, the transcript and a written recap that our AI drafts from the transcript; your coach can see them too. A recap can contain mistakes, and award seats and prices change constantly, so check them yourself before you transfer points or book. You keep your call recordings and recaps after your membership ends.
  • If your membership ends: We put the calls you bought at the member price on hold until you rejoin. That means $199 calls, the 3-call pack, and calls you add to a $199 call. We also put them on hold during a payment dispute. We may cancel calls you've booked for that time, and each one goes back to your account with the same use-by date. They work again when you rejoin, up to the same use-by date. We don't put $299 calls or calls from a Points Coaching package on hold when your membership ends.

Payment Disputes

  • If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of asking us, your membership and coaching calls are put on hold while the dispute is open: member access stops, you can't buy or book calls, and calls you've booked are cancelled back to your account.
  • If the dispute is decided in your favour, your membership ends and any unused calls are removed. To join again, write to us first at hello@princeoftravel.com.
  • If it's decided in ours, your membership and calls are restored, and your calls' use-by dates move out by the time they were on hold.

Prince Collection (hotel bookings)

  • Prince Collection is a complimentary hotel booking service – there is no fee charged to you
  • Bookings are subject to hotel availability and the terms of the specific property
  • Cancellation policies are set by the individual hotel and communicated at the time of booking
  • We are not liable for changes to hotel rates, availability, or benefits after booking

Ask Prince of Travel

Ask Prince of Travel is provided for informational purposes only. Its responses:

  • Are generated automatically and may contain errors, outdated information, or incomplete guidance
  • Should not be considered financial, legal, or professional advice
  • Do not constitute an offer or recommendation to apply for any specific financial product
  • Are not reviewed by a human before being displayed to you

You are solely responsible for verifying any information provided by Ask Prince of Travel before making financial or travel decisions. Prince of Travel is not liable for any actions taken based on its responses.

YouTube

Our videos are published on YouTube, and parts of our service use YouTube API Services. By watching, commenting on or otherwise using our videos on YouTube, including in the players on the Site, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site – including text, graphics, logos, and software – is the property of Prince of Travel and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

Prince of Travel is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, our services, or reliance on our content. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prince of Travel, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site or violation of these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users and posted on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
