The TD Borderless Plan is a US dollar account, so its fees are charged in US dollars. The monthly fee is $4.95 (USD).
You can have the fee waived entirely by maintaining a minimum daily balance of $3,000 (USD). If you also hold a TD All-Inclusive Banking Plan, you'll get $3 (USD) off the monthly fee.
The plan includes unlimited transactions, so there's nothing extra to pay for everyday USD banking.
The TD Borderless Plan is built for Canadians who regularly spend, earn, or hold US dollars.
You'll get unlimited transactions along with preferred foreign exchange rates when converting between Canadian and US dollars, which adds up if you move money across the border often.
The plan also includes free US dollar drafts and a $39 (USD) rebate on the annual fee of the TD U.S. Dollar Visa Card.
Deposits are eligible for CDIC coverage.
