Video: What Is Manufactured Spending?

Ayy, it’s the video you’ve all been waiting for. 😉

Manufactured spending is one of the most advanced strategies in this game we play, allowing you to rack up the points at an unparalleled rate by putting purchases on your credit card purely for the sake of earning points, and then converting those purchases into cash to pay off your credit card bill.

In this video, I explain in detail how manufactured spending works, the risks and rewards of this activity, why it’s such a “secret” topic, and what we can learn from manufactured spending methods of years past. Pay close attention and you might learn something!

This video concludes my Intro to Miles & Points video series, which should hopefully serve as a useful guide for newcomers who are interested in getting started on travelling on points. The idea here is that by watching these videos, anyone will be able to go from a completely blank slate to a general high-level understanding of how we do what we do.

Here’s the full episode list, if you wanted to catch up:

As usual, don’t forget to give it a “Like”, leave a comment, and share it with all of your friends who are curious about MS!

Now that I’ve finished the intro series that I had originally set out to make back in March, my goal is to continue making YouTube videos on a regular basis, to discuss a wide variety of topics within Miles & Points. After all, there are many complex topics in our space that can be better explained or expanded upon in video format compared to simple blog posts, so I intend to continue building my presence on this platform going forward.

Make sure you’re subscribed to the channel so you don’t miss any future videos!
