Aeroplan’s “Dream Destinations, Delivered” Contest: Win 1,000,000 Aeroplan Points!

Aeroplan and Amazon have brought back the “Dream Destinations, Delivered” contest, which gives eligible members a chance to win one of ten prizes of 1,000,000 Aeroplan points.
If you have any online shopping to do through Amazon over the next few weeks, it’s worth reading over the details, as the contest could give your Aeroplan balance a big boost this summer.
How the Contest Works
The setup mirrors last year, with one entry per person up for grabs and a low barrier to get in.
To enter online, register your Aeroplan number on the contest page, accept the privacy policy, and shop on Amazon.ca through the Aeroplan eStore between June 2 and June 26, 2026.
That’s it. Any eligible Amazon purchase made through the eStore during the contest period counts as your entry.
You’ll need to be both an Aeroplan member and an Amazon Prime member at the time of purchase, along with being a Canadian resident who has reached the age of majority.
If you’d rather not buy anything, there’s a no-purchase route. Mail in a fifty-word essay, in English or French, describing how you’ve enjoyed rewards with Aeroplan over the years, along with your contact details and Aeroplan number.
Mailed entries have to reach Aeroplan before 11:59pm PT on June 26, 2026. Either way, you’re limited to one entry for the whole contest.
The draw takes place on July 2, 2026 at 11am ET, and winners receive their points within two weeks of being notified.
Earn up to 10x Points During the Bonus Window
The contest gets you an entry, but the real reason to time your shopping is the bonus earning rate.
From June 23 to June 26, 2026, the Aeroplan eStore is offering up to 10x Aeroplan points on eligible Amazon.ca purchases, which Aeroplan is tying to Amazon’s Prime Day event.

That rate is built on the base of 1 Aeroplan point per dollar spent, before taxes, shipping, and other surcharges.
A few things are carved out. Prime memberships, gift cards, and grocery items don’t earn under this offer, and eligible categories can change without notice, so it’s worth checking the eStore before you check out.
One detail trips people up every time. The purchase only tracks if you start at the Aeroplan eStore, or use the Aeroplan Shopping Button, and click through to Amazon from there. Anything you buy by going straight to Amazon won’t earn the bonus.
What I’d Do with 1,000,000 Aeroplan Points
Winning a million Aeroplan points outright is a different kind of windfall than slowly building a balance through credit cards and transfers.
Aeroplan raised pricing on several premium long-haul routes with its June 1, 2026 Flight Reward Chart update, so the examples below reflect the current chart.
The contest’s terms peg each prize at $30,000, which works out to 3 cents per point. We value Aeroplan points at 2.0 cents each, so a more conservative estimate puts a million points around $20,000.
Either way, the ceiling climbs much higher if you put the points toward premium cabins, where Aeroplan tends to shine.
A few examples of where a million points could take you, assuming you can find the award space:
- 18 one-way flights in ANA business class between Vancouver and Tokyo, from 55,000 points each
- Up to 16 one-way business class flights between Canada and Europe, from 60,000 points each on select partners
- 11 one-way flights in Lufthansa First Class to Europe, from 90,000 points each
- More than a dozen round-trip economy flights to Europe, from 35,000 points each way

There are countless other ways to spend them, but the theme holds. The more aspirational the redemption, the more value you’ll squeeze out of each point.
Turn Your Points into Amazon Purchases
If you’d rather use points than wait on a draw, two redemption offers are running alongside the contest.
Until June 28, 2026, you can save up to 12% in points when you redeem for an Amazon gift card through the Aeroplan eStore.
Aeroplan is also discounting more than 100 other gift cards from June 1 to June 28, so it’s worth a look if you’ve been sitting on a balance without travel plans.
These won’t get you outsized value the way an award flight will, but they’re a reasonable way to clear out points you’d otherwise let sit.
Conclusion
This is one of the easiest contests to enter all year, especially if you already have Amazon purchases lined up for the bonus window.
I’ll be registering my Aeroplan number before I place my next order, and timing anything non-urgent for the June 23 to 26 window to stack the 10x earning on top.
The contest closes June 26, 2026, with the draw on July 2. If you’re an Aeroplan and Amazon Prime member, there’s little reason not to throw your hat in.
