Up to 25% Off North American Aeroplan Redemptions

With Aeroplan‘s latest promotion, you can save up to 25% on North American Air Canada redemptions in all classes of service. To be clear, the discount applies to flights within Canada or between Canada and the United States, Mexico, Central America, or the Caribbean. 

The promotion runs between September 15, 2023, and September 29, 2023, for travel through to March 31, 2024. 

There’s no registration required, and you’ll just need to search for flights as you typically would, since any discounts are already factored in.

The discount only applies to new bookings; therefore, if you have a pre-existing booking and make a change, you won’t be eligible for up to a 25% discount.

You could be able to score a deal in economy, premium economy, or business class flights with Air Canada, including the airline’s flagship lie-flat seats.

It’s worth noting that the discount may not always equate to the full 25% – some routes may feature a lesser discount, and others may not feature a discount at all.

However, you’re more likely to receive a bigger discount when flying on the following list of routes:

Air Canada flights booked through Aeroplan are subject to dynamic pricing, which means that you could see a range of prices for any particular route.

Furthermore, any discount being offered on Air Canada flights isn’t marked or otherwise denoted in the search results; rather, when you search for a flight on any given date, the search results will look as they always do, and there may be up to a 25% discount factored into the route.

Therefore, you’ll want to acquaint yourself with the Aeroplan Flight Reward Chart to get an idea of if you’re getting a great deal.

The below chart shows the range of prices you can expect to pay in Aeroplan points for flights within North America.

For example, a flight between Vancouver and Calgary measures around 428 miles, and we’d consult the 0–500 miles distance band to get an idea of what flights should cost. In this case, if flights price out at or below 6,000 points in economy or 15,000 points in business class, you know you’re getting a good deal.
