The National Bank^® ECHO^® Cashback Mastercard^® is a simple cash back card with a low annual fee. It earns a higher rate on gas, groceries, and online purchases, and an unlimited 1% on everything else.

The National Bank^® ECHO^® Cashback Mastercard^® doesn't currently have a welcome bonus.

The card has an annual fee of $30, and additional cards are free. There's no minimum income requirement.

The 1.5% rate applies to the first $25,000 in eligible purchases charged to the account each year. After that, all purchases earn 1%.^†

Note that travel purchases, public transportation, recurring payments such as subscriptions and automatic bill payments, and digital wallet reloads earn the base 1% rate even when they're made online.^†

Once you've earned $10 in cash back, you can sign in to your National Bank online bank and apply it to your credit card account. There's no need to wait for an annual payout.

The ECHO is a no-frills card. You'll get Mastercard's Zero Liability protection against unauthorized transactions, along with the ability to lock, unlock, or replace your card from your online bank.

• Purchase protection against theft or damage for 90 days from the date of purchase
• Extended warranty that doubles the manufacturer's warranty, up to one additional year

The card doesn't include any travel insurance.
