Video: Get These RBC Avion Cards and Forget the Rest

RBC has released a series of smoking-hot welcome offers on their Avion-branded personal travel credit cards.

The RBC Avion Visa Infinite, Visa Platinum, and Visa Infinite Privilege are all offering 35,000 Avion points upon approval, and then 20,000 Avion points upon spending $5,000 in the first six months.

These are some of the most attractive welcome bonuses on the market this season, paving a way towards flying in some of the world’s best premium cabins for almost no money out-of-pocket.

In this video, we’ll go over everything you need to know about these new RBC Avion bonuses, including the benefits of each card and the appropriate application strategies to maximize the offers before the expire on September 16.

Great info as always! One question about the “RBC 1/90 Rule”….Does this apply to any RBC Credit Card or just Visa? I think I’m still within 90 days of getting the WestJet M/C with the offer they had earlier this year.

Thanks for another excellent video Ricky! Wonder if you could comment on the following sentence from note 1 of the RBC T&C for these offers. “Additional cardholder(s), as well as existing cardholders of any RBC Royal Bank personal credit cards, applying for or transferring to an RBC Avion Visa Infinite, RBC Avion Visa Platinum, or RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege card as of the offer eligibility period, are not eligible for this offer.” It reads to me like any existing RBC credit card holder is not eligible for the offer. Seems a very unusual statement.

Great video and agree with everything you are saying except for the transfer to BA. While the transfer to AA is not as good, the fees for a flight to Japan are far less than on BA. I am planning a trip for next year to Japan, and I can’t get over how expensive, in fees, the BA code share tickets are. But for 35k AA, I can fly for significantly cheaper.
