The Desjardins Group and Plaza Premium have jointly opened a new airport lounge on the transborder concourse of Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL).
After its opening was stalled by the pandemic, the Desjardins Odyssey Lounge – Plaza Premium Lounge officially opened its doors as of March 1, 2024.
The New Desjardins Odyssey Lounge – Plaza Premium Lounge Montreal
There’s a new lounge available to US-bound passengers departing from Montreal (YUL).
As of March 1, 2024, the Desjardins Odyssey Lounge – Plaza Premium Lounge Montreal has been welcoming passengers waiting to board transborder flights.
Located near gate 76, the Desjardins Odyssey Lounge – Plaza Premium Lounge may only be accessed after heading through US pre-clearance, which means it’s not accessible to those departing on domestic and other international flights.
The lounge is open daily from 4:30am–9pm, which will cater to most, if not all, US transborder flights departing out of the airport.
Inside the lounge, you can expect to find a decent selection of food and drink, including beer and spirits. At any time of day, you’ll find a buffet of hot and cold dishes, allowing you to enjoy a full meal before your flight.
There are several seating areas with room for more than 100 guests, and the lounge appears to offer a relaxing atmosphere, especially when compared to the rest of the terminal.
The Desjardins Odyssey Lounge – Plaza Premium Lounge becomes the second Odyssey lounge by the Desjardins Group in Montreal, with the first one situated in the international departures concourse of the same airport.
Likewise, it’s also the second offering by Plaza Premium in Montreal, with the other being the Air France Lounge in the international departures area.
It’s worth noting that Air Canada also operates a Maple Leaf Lounge in the transborder area.
