Hilton for Business Offers Double Night Credits, Up to 5 Bonus Nights

Hilton for Business is offering double elite night credits on stays booked at a Hilton for Business rate until December 31, 2026, up to five bonus nights per member.
Hilton lowered its elite thresholds for 2026, so five extra nights can now finish a status year at Gold or Diamond. This is a free top-up for Canadian business travellers who are already close, not double credit for the rest of the year.
It's a much smaller offer than last year's. In the fall of 2025, Hilton for Business handed out Diamond status to members who completed just 10 nights between September 15 and December 15.
Hilton for Business Double Night Credit Offer
The offer started at 5am ET on November 2 and runs until 11:59pm ET on December 31, 2026. During that time, members enrolled in Hilton for Business earn one extra tier-qualifying night credit for each eligible night they complete at a Hilton for Business rate.
Only owners and employees of companies enrolled in Hilton for Business can earn the extra credits. The offer applies at participating hotels and resorts across the Hilton Honors portfolio, and it combines with other Hilton for Business offers. Hilton's terms don't exclude Canadian members or hotels in Canada.
The extra credits stop at five per member. After your first five eligible nights, each night counts as one again.
The extra credits appear in your Hilton Honors account six to eight weeks after each eligible stay, and Hilton can end the offer without notice.
Five nights go further this year because of the lower thresholds. Gold dropped from 40 nights to 25 nights, and Diamond dropped from 60 nights to 50 nights.
The new Diamond Reserve tier sits above both, at 80 nights plus $18,000 (USD) in eligible spending, and five bonus nights barely move a member chasing it.
What Is Hilton for Business?
Hilton for Business launched in early 2024 for small and medium-sized companies that don't have a corporate travel contract. It's free to join, and owners and employees get their own booking rates.
The discount is small. When I compared rates at one hotel last year, the flexible Hilton for Business rate was $498 a night against $504 for the Honors Discount rate, and the non-refundable rates were $390 and $402. That's only 1% to 3% off.

Your company account earns its own points too. Last year, Hilton paid the company 7,500 points after its first stay on a Hilton for Business rate.
On top of that, the account owner got 5,000 points for every 10 nights its members completed. Those points pool at the company level and can be passed on to employees.
Member-only promotions like this one have always been the bigger draw.
How to Enrol in Hilton for Business and Earn the Extra Nights
Joining is free, but it isn't instant. Registering a business requires a work email on your company's own domain, and when I covered the program last year, Hilton reviewed each application by hand, which took up to a week.

The faster route is an invitation. If a colleague or contact already has a Hilton for Business profile, they can add you to it, and you get access right away.
Because you must be enrolled before you check out, sign up now if you have a Hilton stay in the next few weeks. The steps below follow the offer terms, as read on November 6, 2026.
- Connect your Hilton Honors account and create your business profile on the Hilton for Business page.
- Complete your enrolment before you check out of the stay. You must be enrolled in Hilton for Business before checkout for that stay to earn the additional night credit.
- Book your stay at a Hilton for Business rate at a participating hotel or resort.
- Complete your nights by 11:59pm ET on December 31, 2026.
The offer itself needs no separate registration, and once your business profile is set up, eligible nights during the promotion period earn the extra credit.
If a stay begins before November 2 or runs past December 31, only the nights inside the promotion period count. Hilton defines a stay as consecutive nights at the same hotel, even if you check out and check back in.
Who Should Take Advantage of Double Night Credits
The offer is worth it only if the extra nights carry you over a status threshold before the year ends. If no threshold is within reach, five bonus nights have nothing to unlock.
For example, say you're at 40 elite nights and book five nights at a Hilton for Business rate before December 31. Each of those nights counts as two, which brings you to 50 nights and Diamond status.
The cap of five bonus nights also covers a fifth of the 25 nights Hilton now requires for Gold. Five qualifying nights count as 10 toward Gold, so a member at 15 nights can get there with one five-night business trip.
That makes the offer best for self-employed Canadians, small-business owners and business travellers who don't already hold Gold through a credit card. Enrolling costs nothing, and the bonus nights come from travel you were already going to do.
If you already hold Gold through a credit card, you can skip this offer unless Diamond is close. That includes the Hilton Honors American Express® Card, the American Express Platinum Card, and the Business Platinum Card from American Express. The same goes for anyone with no Hilton nights planned between November 2 and December 31, 2026.
What you gain is the status itself. Gold brings an 80% points bonus, room upgrades, and free breakfast at most hotels outside the US.
Diamond adds a 100% points bonus, upgrades up to a one-bedroom suite where available, and executive lounge access at Hilton and Conrad hotels.
I earned Hilton Diamond the hard way in 2025, with 30 stays ping-ponging between two Hilton Garden Inns in Kuala Lumpur. Bonus night credits wouldn't have helped there, since I was counting stays, but for someone at 40 nights in December, they're the difference between Gold and Diamond.

Other Ways Canadians Can Earn Hilton Status and Points
If you want Gold without any stays, the Hilton Honors American Express® Card includes Gold status for a $150 annual fee and earns 6x at Hilton. The card launched in Canada on October 29, 2026, and I already have one in my wallet.

The American Express Platinum Card and the Business Platinum Card from American Express, each with a $799 annual fee, also include Hilton Gold, which you enrol in through Amex’s benefits page.
If you want points rather than status, Hilton's More Points to Play promotion pays up to 3,000 bonus points per stay until December 31, 2026. You have to register before your first stay.

American Express Membership Rewards (Canada) points also transfer to Hilton Honors at 1:1, but that's a poor use of them. At our valuations of 2.2 cents per Membership Rewards point and 0.7 cents per Hilton point, you'd give up about two-thirds of the value.
Compared with Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton's offer is a one-time boost. The Canadian Amex Marriott Bonvoy cards give 15 Elite Night Credits automatically every year, while this offer caps at five nights over two months, and it covers only business-rate stays.
Conclusion
This is a far smaller offer than last year's 10-night Diamond fast track, but it's still a free win for Canadian business travellers within 10 nights of a status threshold. A member at 40 nights can reach Diamond's 50 with five business-rate nights, and a member at 15 nights can reach Gold.
If you already hold Gold from an Amex card and Diamond is out of reach, you can pass. If you're within range, enrol your business in Hilton for Business before checkout, book at a Hilton for Business rate, and finish your nights by 11:59pm ET on December 31.
