Hilton Honors Summer 2026 Promotion: Earn Up to 4,000 Bonus Points per Stay

Hilton Honors has launched its summer 2026 promotion, called More Nights, More Points, offering registered members up to 4,000 bonus points per stay completed between June 1 and August 15, 2026.
Unlike last year's flat 1,000-point-per-stay structure, the 2026 version scales the bonus with stay length. Short stays earn 2,000 bonus points, and stays of four nights or more earn 4,000 bonus points.
If you've got summer Hilton stays already on the books, registration takes less than a minute, and the points stack on top of everything else you'd earn anyway.
Hilton Honors 2026 More Nights, More Points Promotion
From June 1 to August 15, 2026, registered Hilton Honors members will earn bonus points based on the length of each completed stay, with no cap on the total bonus you can rack up over the summer. Award stays count too, as long as the booking is made directly with Hilton.

Here's the tier structure:
- 2,000 bonus points on stays of 1–3 nights
- 4,000 bonus points on stays of four nights or more
You'll need to register before completing your first eligible stay. The bonus applies on top of your base points and any elite tier bonus earning, though Hilton notes that these promo points don't count toward elite tier qualification.
A "stay" here means the total number of consecutive nights at the same property, even if you happen to check out and check back in mid-trip. So a Saturday-to-Wednesday run at the same hotel counts as one four-night stay, not two shorter ones.
One quirk worth knowing. If you check in before June 1 but check out after, your stay still qualifies, as long as it's completed on or after June 1 and before or on August 15, 2026. Bonus points can take six to eight weeks to land in your account after checkout.
How to Maximize the More Nights, More Points Promotion
Here's how the points stack up when you optimize with elite status and the right credit card:
- 10 base points as a Hilton Honors member
- Bonus points for having Hilton Honors elite status:
- 2 points with Silver status, which you get with the Hilton Honors Card
- 8 points with Gold status, which you get with the Hilton Honors Surpass Card, or the Canadian-issued American Express Platinum Card and Business Platinum Card
- 10 points with Diamond status, which you get with the Hilton Honors Aspire Card
- Points earned for using your Hilton Honors credit card at an eligible property:
- 7 points for using the Hilton Honors Card
- 12 points for using the Hilton Honors Surpass Card or the Hilton Honors Business Card
- 14 points for using the Hilton Honors Aspire Card
That works out to up to 34 Hilton Honors points per dollar spent: 10 base points as a Hilton Honors member, 10 points with Diamond status, and 14 points by paying with an Aspire Card. Plus, the per-stay bonus from the More Nights, More Points promotion on top.
At our current valuation of 0.5 cents per point (USD) or 0.7 cents per point (CAD), that's an approximate return of 17% on the $1 spent, excluding the per-stay bonus.

For a worked example, say a Diamond member books a four-night stay at a Hilton property at $200 (USD) per night:
- 8,000 base points earned ($800 × 10)
- 8,000 elite bonus points as a Diamond member
- 11,200 points by paying with the Aspire Card ($800 × 14)
- 4,000 bonus points from the promotion
That's a total of 31,200 points on an $800 stay. At our current valuation, that works out to a roughly 19.5% return in points value on the cash spent, which is solid for a hotel earning play.
The same math on a three-night stay would only pull in 2,000 promo points instead of 4,000, so it's worth checking whether a fourth night makes sense at the property you're considering, especially if it puts the rate into a sweet spot for the bonus.
If you don't have the Aspire Card, the next-best path for Canadians is to hold a Canadian-issued American Express Platinum Card or Business Platinum Card from American Express for the complimentary Gold status, paired with a lower-tier American Express US Hilton credit card for in-property earning. That stack lands at around 30 points per dollar plus the bonus, which still adds up across a busy summer.
How It Compares to Last Year
The 2025 version of this promotion handed out a flat 1,000 bonus points per stay across the same June-to-August window. Anyone running a one-night stay got the same reward as someone on a 10-night vacation.
This year, the math has been redrawn:
| Stay length | 2025 promo | 2026 promo |
|---|---|---|
| 1 night | 1,000 points | 2,000 points |
| 3 nights | 1,000 points | 2,000 points |
| 4 nights | 1,000 points | 4,000 points |
| 7 nights | 1,000 points | 4,000 points |
For short business trips, the 2026 bonus is twice as generous. For longer family vacations, it's up to four times richer. The trade-off is that chaining multiple one-night stays no longer carries the same lopsided advantage it did under the flat structure.
Save Your Points for an Aspirational Redemption
The 1–3 night tier is worth roughly $14 (CAD) per stay in points value, so it's not going to move the needle on its own. The real lift comes when you funnel the bonus into a longer aspirational redemption down the road.
Hilton Honors points aren't the easiest hotel currency to earn from a Canadian perspective, so every shortcut helps. The summer promo is one of the easier ways to top up your balance for a future stay at a Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, or LXR property.

Previous Promotions
For historical context, here are the recent summer promotions Hilton Honors has run during the June-to-August window:
- Summer 2026 (current): 2,000 bonus points on stays of 1–3 nights, 4,000 bonus points on stays of four or more nights. Valid June 1–August 15, 2026.
- Summer 2025: Points Plus promotion, 1,000 bonus points per stay, flat regardless of stay length. Valid June 1–August 15, 2025.
Year-over-year, the 2026 promo is a step up on every front. Short-stay travellers earn twice as much per stay, and longer-stay travellers earn up to four times as much. The flat-bonus era looks to be over, at least for now.
Conclusion
If I were planning my summer travel right now, this promo would tilt my booking choices toward longer Hilton stays where I have the option. A four-plus-night stay earns twice the per-stay bonus of a shorter one, and the bonus stacks on top of base earning, so it's free points on stays I'd take anyway.
For families heading on a longer summer trip, this is an easy win. Register, book direct, and treat the bonus as a top-up. The bigger lesson is that Hilton has structured this offer to reward intention. Vacationers who plan trips around the program now get more out of it than road warriors checking in and out for the bonus.
Registration is free and the offer runs until August 15, 2026. Just don't forget to register before your first stay. Bonuses can't be applied retroactively.
