BMO is currently offering students a Tech Reward worth up to $200, run in partnership with Best Buy.

To qualify, you'll need to open an eligible student plan and complete the qualifying actions attached to the offer.

Keep in mind that BMO requires you to keep an eligible plan open until November 3, 2027 to hold onto the reward.

There's no monthly fee on the BMO Student Performance Chequing Account. BMO waives the Performance plan fee for as long as you're enrolled, plus one full year after graduation.

It's worth noting that medical and dental students get an upgraded version of the deal, with the pricier Premium plan fee waived instead.

The plan includes unlimited transactions, so everyday banking won't cost you anything while the waiver applies.

The Student Performance Chequing Account gives students the full Performance feature set without the monthly fee.

That means unlimited debit transactions and unlimited free Interac e-Transfers, the same everyday banking package that regular Performance customers pay $17.95 per month for.
