Event Details

This edition of Miles & Pints will be held on Friday, March 10 from 6–9pm at Omen Brewing, a family-run brewery in Edmonton that specializes in dark beers.

The venue’s address is 9942-67 Ave Edmonton, AB T6E 0P5.

The event is only for Prince of Travel members. Gold, Platinum, and Royal Platinum members are welcome to attend. There is no charge to attend the event.

We’ll be providing appetizer-style food, and a selection of house drinks and non-alcoholic beverages, included with your RSVP. You’ll get complimentary drink tickets based on your membership tier:

  • Royal Platinum: 3 drink tickets
  • Platinum: 2 drink tickets
  • Gold: 1 drink ticket

You’ll also be able to purchase additional drinks off the full brewery menu.

The Prince of Travel team will be represented by our Edmonton-based representative, Kirin, as well as T.J., who will be coming up from Comox. Reed and Hugh from the Frugal Flyer team will also be in attendance.

As capacity is limited, RSVPs are mandatory, and we won’t be able to accommodate guests, non-members, or members without an RSVP. You can RSVP on the event page.

Likewise, if you can’t attend, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can make your spot available for another member.

Why You Should Attend Miles & Pints

Miles & Pints events are casual, low-pressure social events designed to build connections. There’s no formal agenda or presentations – just come out and have some fun with others who share your love of travel.

I’ve always been a big believer in the power of networking. I’ve experienced it myself, and I’ve seen it with others: nothing accelerates the Miles & Points game like building a community. These events are a great way to meet like-minded people, so you can talk shop and bounce strategies off each other.

Whether you’ve been a savvy traveller for decades, or you’re just starting out with your first premium credit card, I’m sure you’ll find the group to be a friendly bunch. You’ll meet some of the most avid travellers I’ve had the pleasure of knowing, plus you’ll get some face time with the Prince of Travel team in a small group setting.

If you’re curious and new to the Miles & Points space, I invite you to sign up for a Prince of Travel membership. Get a taste at the Gold tier, which gives you access to Miles & Pints events.

If you decide to stick around, you can upgrade to Platinum for access to our online Discord community, where you’ll deepen the connections and discussions sparked at these in-person get-togethers.

Conclusion

Join us in Edmonton for our fifth official Miles & Pints event on Friday, March 10 from 6–9pm at Omen Brewing, in partnership with Frugal Flyer. Be sure to RSVP now on the event page before the guest list fills up.

Stay tuned for future editions of Miles & Pints. The Prince of Travel team will be hosting these regularly, rotating around Canadian cities. We hope to see you there, whether in Edmonton next month or at a future event!
