Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to fly Singapore Airlines Suites Class on the Airbus A380 between Auckland and Singapore as a slight detour on my crazy Aeroplan Mini-RTW trip.
Singapore Airlines traditionally blocks off Suites Class and First Class awards from its airline partners, preferring to reserve these aspirational redemptions for members of their own KrisFlyer loyalty program.
However, late last year I was alerted to a few pockets of Suites Class award space on the Auckland route that was bookable through Aeroplan, and since I was going to be in Oceania anyway, I figured there was no better opportunity to try out this world-class product.
And was it worth the 95,000 Aeroplan miles? You bet.
After bringing you along for the ride onboard the First Class products of ANA, Cathay Pacific, and Asiana, here’s my new YouTube video capturing the full Singapore Suites experience – including the coveted Double Bed in the Sky – from start to finish:
Now that I’ve finished working on the video, hopefully I’ll have my in-depth review of Singapore Suites ready on the blog soon.
If you enjoyed the video, don’t forget to give it a “Like”, leave a comment, and subscribe to the channel. And if you think anyone in your circles would enjoy watching me slowly getting more and more inebriated onboard Singapore Suites, make sure to share it with them as well!
