Chase Hyatt Business Visa: 60,000 Points + Double Elite Nights

The US-issued Chase Hyatt Business Visa now offers double elite nights as part of its signup bonus, making this a very appealing offer for Hyatt loyalists.

The World of Hyatt loyalty program is making some major moves, including a tempting new limited-time deal on the US-issued World of Hyatt Business Credit Card by Chase.

The standard signup bonus of 60,000 World of Hyatt points upon spending $5,000 in the first three months (all figures in USD), but now with an extra time-limited incentive: double elite nights for the rest of the year if you sign up before October 6, 2022.

Apply for the Chase Hyatt Business Visa, Get Double Elite Nights

The offer of double elite nights is available only as a signup bonus for new applicants, and is not a promotion available to those who already hold the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card by Chase.

New cardholders who apply between today, August 23, and October 6, 2022, will earn two elite nights on all eligible stays that take place between August 23 and December 31, 2022.

Note that even if you get approved for the card after a stay takes place, you should still qualify for double elite nights on that stay, as long as the checkout date was August 23 or later.

World of Hyatt Business Credit Card

The World of Hyatt Business Credit Card by Chase initially launched in August 2021 with a signup bonus of 75,000 World of Hyatt points upon spending $7,500 in the first three months.

Since then, the bonus has decreased and has remained steady at 60,000 Hyatt points upon spending $5,000 in the first three months.

The annual fee is $199, and the card also comes with World of Hyatt Discoverist status, two sets of $50 Hyatt credits per year, and five elite qualifying nights per $10,000 spent per calendar year.

For those looking to pick up the card under this current offer, note that getting approved for a Chase card requires you to be quite a ways down the path of getting started with US credit cards.

The World of Hyatt Business Credit Card is also subject to Chase’s “5/24 rule” – meaning that you won’t be approved if you’ve opened at least five US-issued personal credit cards in the past 24 months – but will not count towards the 5/24 rule, like all business credit cards from Chase.

A Huge Boost in the Pursuit of Hyatt Globalist Status

World of Hyatt Globalist status is known as one of the strongest top-tier hotel loyalty statuses out there, with a wealth of perks that are most consistently delivered compared to fellow hotel programs.

Normally, earning Globalist status requires staying 60 nights with Hyatt per year. If you were to get approved for the Chase Hyatt Business Visa under the current deal, you’d only need to stay 30 nights in the rest of the year to earn Globalist status.

Moreover, this fall, World of Hyatt is running the “Bonus Journeys” promotion, which allows you to earn double elite nights at 65+ participating Inclusive Collection resorts.

All stays at Hyatt’s all-inclusive properties between September 15 and December 20, 2022 will qualify, and you’ll also earn double points as part of Bonus Journeys.

If you were to be approved for the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card and also stay at a qualifying all-inclusive resort, you’d be able to earn three elite qualifying nights per actual night stayed.

Thus, Globalist status would be within reach with only 20 nights stayed at a Hyatt all-inclusive property, which is potentially quite a tempting deal for any location-flexible travellers out there.

Personally, I’m sitting at 37 elite qualifying nights with Hyatt this year in my bid to re-qualify for Globalist after earning it the “easy” way in 2020–21, and I’ll definitely be eyeing an application for the Chase Hyatt Business Visa to bring my target of 60 elite nights well within reach for the rest of the year.

Conclusion

The US-issued World of Hyatt Business Credit Card by Chase is now offering double elite nights as part of its signup bonus, making this quite an appealing offer for Hyatt loyalists who are eligible for this card but are yet to apply.

Applicants approved before October 6, 2022 will earn double elite nights on all stays that take place between August 23 and December 31, 2022.

Furthermore, pair this promotion with the “Bonus Journeys” promotion for a total of three elite nights per night stayed at all-inclusive resorts, making top-tier Hyatt Globalist status a 20-night pursuit.
