Redeeming Rewards
Chase Ultimate Rewards is one of the strongest bank loyalty programs around. The flexible nature of the Ultimate Rewards program means that you’ll have lots of options when looking to redeem your Ultimate Rewards points. However, the Ultimate Rewards points with the Chase Freedom Unlimited® credit card, aren’t as versatile. For example, you won’t be able to transfer Ultimate Rewards points earned with the Chase Freedom Unlimited® credit card to any of Chase’s partners. Fortunately, there’s a way around this. If you have any one of the three: Chase Ink Business Preferred®, Chase Sapphire Preferred®, or Chase Sapphire Reserve® credit cards, you can freely transfer your Ultimate Rewards points from your Chase Freedom Unlimited® credit card to one of those credit cards. Once transferred, you’ll have a lot more redemption options. In fact, some of the best redemption options include transferring points to airline or hotel loyalty programs, using the points to book travel through Chase’s travel portal, and redeeming points as statement credits. If you’re able to transfer your Ultimate Rewards points to one of the mentioned Chase cards, you can get the most value out of your Chase Ultimate Rewards points by transferring your points from there to another loyalty program and booking hotels and flights. At a rate of 1:1, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to the following loyalty programs: Airlines:
