Coast Capital Unlimited Chequing Account

Coast Capital is offering new members a $400 cash bonus for opening an Unlimited Chequing account by November 30, 2026.

To qualify, you'll need to set up a recurring payroll or other eligible direct deposit within 60 days of your membership being approved, then keep it coming in for 90 consecutive days, with at least one deposit each month. Coast Capital pays the bonus within 60 to 90 days of confirming that you've met the criteria.

It's worth noting that there's a separate $100 bonus if you also open a new Coast Capital Classic, Cash Back or Centra Gold Mastercard and spend $1,000 on it within 90 days of activating the card.

The Unlimited Chequing account carries a monthly fee of $8.50.

You can have the fee waived entirely by keeping a $4,000 daily balance, or simply by being 25 or younger or 59 and older.

Plus, setting up a direct deposit takes another $5 off, bringing the fee down to $3.50 per month.

As the name suggests, Unlimited Chequing comes with unlimited transactions for everyday banking.

The plan replaced Coast Capital's old Classic Chequing account.

Between the balance waiver, the age waivers, and the direct deposit discount, there are several paths to reducing or eliminating the monthly fee.
