The Prince of Travel connector lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT look up our data while they answer your questions. It covers Canadian credit cards, loyalty programs, Aeroplan award prices, award charts, partner airlines, points transfers and elite status, plus our articles.

It's free and read-only, and it needs no sign-in.

Add it to Claude

  1. In Claude, go to Customize > Connectors.
  2. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Prince of Travel, paste the connector URL and click Continue.
  4. Under Authentication, choose No sign in, then click Add.
  5. In a chat, click +, choose Connectors and turn Prince of Travel on.

On Claude's free plan you can add one custom connector.

Add it to ChatGPT

  1. Go to the Plugins page in ChatGPT.
  2. Select +, then Add custom MCP server.
  3. Name it Prince of Travel, and under Connection paste the connector URL.
  4. Choose no authentication, read the warning, select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
  5. Install it, start a new chat, type @ and pick Prince of Travel.

Your ChatGPT plan or workspace settings decide whether you can add custom servers.

What the tools do

  • Look up a Canadian credit card: Fees, welcome offer, earn rates and perks for one card, with the date we last checked it.
  • Compare credit cards: Two to five cards side by side, ranked on fees, earn rates and welcome offers.
  • Look up a loyalty program: A program's alliance, transfer partners, key rules and elite tiers.
  • Price an Aeroplan award: The Aeroplan points price for a route, including connections.
  • Read an award chart: Another program's award chart for a route, such as British Airways Avios or Flying Blue.
  • Check a partner airline: Whether an airline can be booked with a program's points.
  • Find points transfer options: Which points transfer where, at what ratio, and any current transfer bonus.
  • Work out elite status progress: How far you are from an elite tier and, for Aeroplan, what closes the gap.

What it gives you, and what it doesn't

  • Every figure comes from Prince of Travel's own data. Amounts are in Canadian dollars unless a result says otherwise.
  • Each card result links that card's page on princeoftravel.com and gives the date we last verified it. Offers change, so check the page before you apply.
  • It never gives application or affiliate links. Our Disclosure explains how we earn money.
  • Your assistant writes the answer, not us. It can still get things wrong, so check anything important on our site.
  • It doesn't book, apply, sign in or see any of your accounts.

Limits

Each address can make 30 calls a minute and 1,000 a day. Calls that Claude and ChatGPT make from their own servers share a larger limit, one for each assistant.

Privacy

We don't store your questions or what your assistant sends to the tools. For each call we keep the time, which assistant made it, which tool it used, whether it worked, how long it took and which cards were in the result, for up to 26 months. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
