How are these fifth-freedom flights? Both Papeete and Paris are cities in France.
Excited! Excited! FP is one of my favourite places in the world with Fakarava topping it as all time favourite. Air Tahiti Nui (not to be confused with Air Tahiti which does the inter island routes) is very good. I’ve flown premium Econ, and Economy and it’s a solid offering from LAX. In Sept trying the French Bee Premium seats for SFO to Papeete but would rather do a Seattle Papeete. Now looking into converting my Avios. FP is an expensive place to go to but it’s also easy to find smaller, affordable pensiones.
Oh WOW! Great news….I am half way to Papeete…in my dreams. Will be booking this trip in near future. I love French Polynesia….last time, we flew economy on Air Tahiti Nui (very tight economy class for 9 hours, 10 years ago), stayed at a Gilligan’s Island basic beach front hut on Huahine (we like authentic/simple paired with luxury), followed by Intercontinental Overwater Bungalow and paid for the entire trip. Next time will be in business and entirely on points thx to POT. Love you blog and look forward to reading updates on the weekends.
