Turkish Airlines has unveiled its newest business class product, “Crystal”, at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024.
We could see “Crystal” make its debut in the skies as early as next year, which is exciting news, given it will replace the existing outdated business class on a good portion of the Turkish Airlines fleet.

The Crystal business class suite will feature larger 23-inch wide seats, each with added foot space and direct aisle access for all guests. The “Crystal” seats have been developed by its subsidiary, TCI Aircraft Interiors, and will feature plush leather and fabrics all sourced from Türkiye to emphasize the flag carrier’s roots.
There will also be an adjustable sliding suite door and panel, giving passengers the option of added privacy.
The upgrade will also brighten up the business class area with warmer colours, rose-gold finishes, and marble-style tables where you can dine on award-winning food prepared by the flying chef.
The airline says the product, which it unveiled at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024, will first be launched on retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft, and then installed on new Airbus A350-1000s on order.
Turkish Airlines says you can expect to see the new business class suite make its debut in 2025, the same year the airline says it will also begin to offer free Wi-Fi to all passengers.
A Major Upgrade for Turkish Airlines
The upcoming launch of Turkish Airlines’s new “Crystal ” business class is a major upgrade to the hard product on its fleet of Boeing 777 aircraft, which currently features an outdated 2-3-2 configuration.
It’s worth noting that you’ll continue to find a great business class seat on the Istanbul-based carrier’s Dreamliner and A350-900 aircraft, complete with lie-flat pods in a 1-2-1 configuration.
Turkish Airlines also operates some Airbus A350-900s that were originally destined for Aeroflot, with an excellent Collins Aerospace Horizon seat – the same hard product Air India features on its new A350-900s that were bound for Aeroflot.
Turkish Airlines often flies its 777s to Canada on routes to Toronto Pearson (YYZ), Vancouver (YVR), and occasionally to Montreal (YUL), which means once the new Crystal business class seats are installed, Canadians will hopefully be able to enjoy the significantly upgraded passenger experience.
