Harbour Air Launches Biggest Expansion with Three New Routes

Harbour Air has announced its largest seasonal expansion ever, adding three new routes this summer and growing its network to 15 destinations across British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest.
Most notably, a first-ever direct seaplane service between Victoria and Seattle launches June 11, 2026. It's a route that's been on wish lists for years, and it's finally happening.
Three New Routes

All three routes launch this summer with once-daily service:
- Victoria–Seattle: launching June 11, with fares starting from $149 one-way. Connecting Victoria's Inner Harbour (YWH) directly to Lake Union in downtown Seattle (LKE) in roughly 30 minutes, this marks the first time Vancouver Island travellers can fly to Seattle without routing through Vancouver
- Vancouver–Ucluelet: launching June 25, with fares starting from $209 one-way. Ucluelet was recently named one of Expedia's top destinations for 2026, known for the Wild Pacific Trail and world-class storm watching
- Vancouver–Campbell River: launching July 6, with fares starting from $139 one-way. Dubbed the "Salmon Capital of the World," Campbell River is a gateway to whale watching, fishing, and the Elk Falls Suspension Bridge
All three offer what Harbour Air does best: downtown-to-downtown connectivity without airport transfers or ferry lineups.

Vancouver–Seattle Returns for a Big Summer
Harbour Air's seasonal Vancouver–Seattle service, which has run every spring and summer since 2018, resumes on April 13 with twice-daily departures between Coal Harbour (CXH) and Lake Union (LKE). Expect a flight time of roughly an hour.
The timing isn't a coincidence. Vancouver and Seattle are collectively hosting 13 international football matches at BC Place and Lumen Field throughout June and July as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. That's going to drive serious demand for quick, convenient cross-border travel.
Beyond the Seattle routes, direct service between Vancouver and Sechelt launches June 26, while Sechelt to Nanaimo (ZNA) resumes May 4. Powell River (YPW) returns as a summer-only route starting April 2.
By the peak of summer 2026, Harbour Air expects to operate up to 200 daily flights across its 15 destinations.

Redeeming Aeroplan Points on Harbour Air
If you're sitting on Aeroplan points, all of these new routes are bookable as awards. Harbour Air partnered with Aeroplan in late 2025 and joined Aeroplan's roster of domestic partners, so redemptions are available on every route in the network.
Harbour Air falls under Aeroplan's Select Partner pricing, meaning awards are dynamically priced. Based on the short distances involved, expect pricing to start in the range of 6,000 to 15,000 Aeroplan points one-way, plus taxes and a $39 partner booking fee.
It's also worth noting that Harbour Air expanded to Tofino with year-round wheeled service earlier this season. Combined with the new Ucluelet route, the West Coast of Vancouver Island is becoming far more accessible by air.
Conclusion
If you travel the B.C. coast or cross the border to Seattle regularly, this expansion is worth paying attention to. A 30-minute seaplane hop from Victoria to downtown Seattle, bookable with Aeroplan points, is the kind of route that makes this hobby fun.
With the FIFA World Cup driving cross-border traffic this summer, I'd book early if you're eyeing the Seattle routes. Award space on these short-haul regional partners tends to be limited.
