    I got a little too excited when I saw the headline for this post. I had hoped to try this strategy but neither myself nor my spouse are business owners so we wouldn’t be eligible. Great opportunity for business owners though.

      You can still qualify for the cards as a sole proprietorship, which is a form of business in which you don’t need any business registration.

    I’d like to know the strategy of accumulating Bonvoy points once you have all Canadian and US cards. Looks to me like retaining cards and maximizing anniversary nights. But how then to get points to stay at high category properties.

      Retaining the cards would help with anniversary nights at mid-tier properties and elite status (especially the two US ones). From there, it’s all about MR transfers, including Cobalt and its associated grocery store/gift card strategies. If buying points on sale makes sense for an expensive property, that too.
