Singapore Airlines has launched the KrisFlyer Global Redemption Sale, which offers 25% off select award flights.
The 25% discount applies to economy Singapore Airlines Saver-level awards to anywhere in its network, as well as to Saver-level premium economy awards between Singapore and select destinations in the United States.
To be clear, the discount doesn’t apply to business class, First Class, or Suites Class awards, nor does it apply to Advantage-level awards.
Furthermore, the 25% discount only applies to flights operated by Singapore Airlines, and not on other partner airlines. You may not waitlist for a discounted award with this promotion.
Award flights must be booked from October 16–22, 2023, and are valid for flights from January 1–July 31, 2024, with some blackout dates on the Singapore–San Francisco route.
The 25% discount offered through the Global Redemption Sale applies to Saver-level premium economy awards to the following US destinations:
- San Francisco (SFO)
- New York (JFK)
- Newark (EWR)
No registration is required for this offer, and importantly, flights can’t be changed or cancelled once booked.

Availability looks to be quite consistent on the routes, including in premium economy.
It’s unclear if this is a one-time promotion, or if Global Redemption Sales will take the place of Spontaneous Escapes moving forward.

As a reminder, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles can be earned by converting any of the following transferable points currencies:

It’s worth noting that transfers from Capital One Miles are typically instant, while other transfers from US bank partners are usually completed within a day.
As for HSBC Rewards, the official transfer time is up to 30 days; however, you can expect the points to arrive in your account in under a week.
If you’re converting Marriott Bonvoy points into KrisFlyer miles, you can expect the transfer to take up to a week; however, in practice, it might happen sooner.
