Video: Aeroplan USA (Chase Partnership + Mastercard Coming Soon)

Aeroplan has launched their new partnership with JPMorgan Chase in the US this week, with Chase Ultimate Rewards points now transferable to Aeroplan at a 1:1 ratio.

In addition, the Chase Aeroplan World Elite Mastercard will be launching soon in Quarter 4 of 2021, and you can now sign up for a waitlist to get an extra 10,000 Aeroplan points on top of the welcome offer if you apply for the card by February 15, 2022.

In this video, we’ll break down what this development means for Aeroplan members on both sides of the border.

Aeroplan will be one of Chase’s strongest transfer partners, offering greater value than the competition in many instances. But could Aeroplan’s US expansion also spell bad news for its Canadian members?

Without further ado, you can watch the video below:

I’ve had an American Amex for years. Can I apply for this new card from Chase or do I also need to get an ITIN?
