I’m thrilled to finally announce something that’s been in the works for a long time: we’ll be hosting the inaugural edition of The Travel Summit in Toronto on October 29–30, 2022, and I can’t wait to see you there.

To learn everything you need to know about this two-day event and purchase tickets, visit The Travel Summit website.

The #1 Event for Elevating Your Travel

The idea behind The Travel Summit was to create an event series where travellers from around the world meet to exchange new ideas, make new connections, and elevate their travel.

The Travel Summit is a gathering place for frequent travellers, first-time travellers, aspirational travellers, budget travellers, world travellers, and luxury travellers. It’s open to anyone for whom travel is a core part of their identity, and who wishes to unlock the freedom of travelling the world on their own terms.

The Travel Summit is hosted by our team at Prince of Travel, where we believe that maximizing rewards points and loyalty programs is the best way to travel.

Our lineup of breakout sessions for the event is geared towards helping attendees learn all of the best knowledge, tips, and strategies for travelling the world on points and growing our community of dedicated points enthusiasts in North America – all while exploring topics within the wider travel industry as a whole and how it shapes each and every one of us as we move throughout the world.

Welcome to Toronto 2022

Having put on successful half-day Prince of Travel Signature Events in Vancouver and Montreal so far, it was time for our events team to step up a level.

The Travel Summit will be a full two-day event over the weekend of Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30, taking place at the state-of-the-art Metro Toronto Convention Centre in the heart of Downtown Toronto.

We’ve booked out the auditorium and a handful of breakout rooms for our keynote speeches, presentations, panels, and networking sessions.

Lunch will be provided on both days of the event, so you’ll be well-nourished throughout the weekend as you absorb new ideas and build new connections.

Just ran across this post through Eventbrite and it sound like a great event to attend. For those that are saying the cost is too high, why? It’s a two-day conference at a real conference venue (not cheap), and there are a ton of topics with amazing top-tier speakers. I can’t actually imagine they are doing this to make much of a profit to be honest. I’ve been to conference at the MTCC and I can tell you that it’s definitely not cheap to rent.

Not trying to hate on anyone but I think the price is more than reasonable. Just need to make sure I can find a decent hotel. Are there room rates for the conference?

    1. Josh YVR

Hi Kerry, we’ve scored some great hotel rates for the event weekend, starting at $229 at the Hyatt. See the full list of deals and book your room at The Travel Summit website. See you there!

As someone who has gone to a few FTUs in the U.S., I remember when these events cost less than half the price. They weren’t worth the money because people wouldn’t answer questions about information not readily available online, such as manufactured spending techniques. Not even on the sidelines of the event. I never really felt like I learned anything, even at “FTU Advanced.” I suggest lowering the price.

Assuming that those that purchased tickets at the previous PoT event in YUL would qualify for this “What’s more, in celebration of the event’s launch, get your ticket before June 30, 2022 to enter the first of our many amazing prize draws for the event: a $500 (CAD) Air Canada gift card.”, but please confirm.

      Confirmed – see you there.

Don’t you think the tickets are a bit too expensive?
400 dollars is too much for me and I suspect many others will feel the same.
The topics covered do not seem to be worth the very high price tag.

  5. Yidi YEG

What time does it finish on the 30th? Just trying to plan my flights

    1. Ricky YVR

Plan for 9am–5pm on both days for now.

  6. R. Hong

what are the keynotes going to be about? other line up seems like it’s low hanging fruit you can get on reddit

  7. Steve
